"Toldja" finds our heroes coming face to face with a mysterious visitor who looks and sounds exactly like their now deceased boss, Phil Coulson. As the team struggles to figure out what is going on, they must also find a way to deal with a new alien contagion. The Shrike take over the body and mind of their hosts, eventually turning their bodies into pure energy.
Meanwhile, back in space, on the planet of Kitson, Simmons has reunited with Fitz, but now they must avoid being captured by the ruthless Mr. Kitson (Anthony Michael Hall)

Mack interrogates Sarge who claims by the end of the day, he will be the one in charge.
May brings Sarge to the base and the rest of the team is blown away when they see that he looks just like Coulson.
Fitz, Simmons, and Enoch face the wrath of Mr. Kitson for causing trouble in his casino.
Mack tells Daisy he needs her there at HQ with him right now. She wants to know what is going on with he and Yo-Yo. Deke has the tracker up and running, but finds two Shrike.
Fitz and Simmons say goodby to Enoch who says his mission is now complete.
With trouble brewing at 47,000' feet, Mack and Daisy are forced to turn to Sarge for answers
